Based on the public tender and in co-operation with the representatives of Elementary school
„Budaševo – Topolovac”, Lonjsko Polje Nature Park Public Service organized the Junior Ranger Programme for fifteen children, future junior rangers (List of participants).
The participants has got the basic knowledge and skills of ecology and nature protection, communication with major land users and local people, monitoring and working methods of ranger division.
Ranger Junior Programme has been set up as the daily different theme education, field work
and daily evaluation.
The last day was provided for exam, training evaluation and proposal of model for future cooperation between juniors and park's rangers. Public Service organized a meeting and playing the games with the children from Elementary school “Jasenovac”, group that passed the program in July 2008. All participants passed the exams (PP presentation - Results) and they have got the certificates. They also prepared and show to their parents and Park's employments some events of their ten days stay in Krapje and their experiences of ranger program.
