tourist market?»
Suggestions and proposals of the I working group „Regional marketing“
• Before thinking about elements which compose successful marketing
( products, prices, communication and distribution) the group
has come to conclusion that thinking about the presentation of
the tourist products, it is necessary to standardize the products
and services of the whole region and present them as one product.
Directing the tourists towards neighboring tourist destination.
The recommended tourist products are in protected areas: Protected
landscape Lawland River Kupa - Zrinska gora, Toplice Topusko
– Town of Sisak – Lawland River Una – Lonjsko polje Nature Park
– Moslavačka gora.
• Product – to unite tourist products and services in one standardize
product for whole region; to coordinate and to include in work
all participants according their activities; to research existing
product and services according the categories; to make a data
for sold entrance tickets; to select the priorities; it is suggested
a new product - adventurism
• Prices – the join opinion is that the price of the product
should be determinate by the quality of the service and the relationship
of the interest and supply. There is possibility of the influence
of the lower prices through the financial support; search a help
from the governmental organizations for data of concurrence;
up keeping of the round tables and guests questioners (Kunz)
• Communication – to make Marketing plan and presentations; production
of catalogues and flyers; advertising by means of the media;
web-site; educational travelers for journalists; opening the
information offices in all centers of the region in which tourists
can get the information on all destination in region and outside
it
• Distribution – distribution of products is possible to order
at fairs which have to be selected towards directed groups (
financial support from County); by manifestations and Internet;
the main subjects of distribution are the tourist offices, travel
agency-tour operator and private sector
Suggestions and proposals of the II working group „Marketing
in the Park“
• Tourist product of LPNP comes from laid down strategies in
selective tourism in rural environments ( active holiday in nature,
walking, biking routes, fishing, canoe, education, anthropological
education, etc)
• As special tourist product there should be organic food (cheese,
honey, horse meet)
• to offer a traditional cuisine through order, but a basic food
option would be available upon request
• it is necessary to develop continuous communication between
Public Service and private tourist houses
• price should be determined by the value of the service
• working with the Public Service and tourist office of the Sisak-Moslavina
County it is necessary to determine a local standard of tourist
service
• It is necessary to form a special tourist agency which would
offer a 24 hours service on all tourist options in region
• Public service and Sisak-Moslavina County have to be the Head
promoter of this region ( prospects, Internet, fairs and media)
