AT.4.1. Report of the workshop on presentation of the Neusidler See National Park showcase, held on December 21th-23rd, 2008 in Sveti Martin na Muri
Two days workshop (21st-23rd December, 2008) has been organized for Lonjsko Polje Nature Park's employments and the showcase of magnetic card in visiting system of Neusiedler See National Park has been presented.
The workshop has been guided by the representative of Neusiedler See National Park , Mr. Alois Lang. He presented main objective, development and functioning of Neusiedler See magnetic card in visiting system (Presentation - German language).
Conclusions of the workshop:
Main objective of magnetic card in Neusiedler See National Park – to improve better incomes for local people and development of region by keeping back of visitors in park area as longer as possible
Reason for using of magnetic card – to ensure a better pay conditions of using services for visitors who stay in park minimum 2 days
The main subjects of magnetic card system are the Headquarter of Neusiedler See National Park and private initiatives of local people (gastronomy, accommodation, museums, pools, etc), but tourist association has a coordinator role
Such system of magnetic card is targeted to visitors
Magentic card system is very effective in control system
Data based on statement of account in magnetic card system are very valuably because they are indicators of trends and wishes of guests in park
